The Shear-wave velocity profile database (VSPDB) has been developed for researchers/engineers to access geophysical and geotechnical investigation data with emphasis on Vs profiles. The introduction of VSPDB can be found in the following literature:

Ahdi, SK, S Sadiq, O Olhan, Y Bozorgnia, YMA Hashash, DY Kwak, D Park, A Yong, JP Stewart (2018). “Development of a United States community shear wave velocity profile database,” in Geotechnical Engineering and Soil Dynamics V: Seismic Hazard Analysis, Earthquake Ground Motions, and Regional-Scale Assessment, June 10-13, 2018, Austin, TX, ASCE Geotechnical Special Publication No. 291, S.J. Brandenberg and M.T. Manzari (eds.), pp 330-339.

If you have utilized this website and would like to cite it, please use the reference below. This citation reflects the work required to develop the website and populate it with data, and it should not substitute for citing the original data source. We suggest citing the original sources of the velocity profiles when feasible.
